Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns
If you change your mind, you may return an item within 30 days of delivery, provided:
- The item is unused and in its original, undamaged packaging.
- The item has not been assembled, installed, or used.
- Proof of purchase is provided.
Return postage costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a trackable service. Once received and inspected, a refund to the original payment method will be processed within 5–7 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery:
- Email hello@autogreencentral.com.au with your order number and photos or a description of the fault.
- We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund (including return postage) at no cost to you.
For major failures under Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a full refund or replacement regardless of product age.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by product and are noted on individual product pages. Warranty claims are handled per the manufacturer's terms and do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Opened nutrient solution or liquid products.
- Items that have been used in contact with water or growing media.
- Custom-configured kit bundles where components have been individually assembled.
How to Start a Return
- Email hello@autogreencentral.com.au with your order number and reason.
- We will confirm eligibility and provide the return address.
- Pack securely and send via a trackable method.
- Once received and inspected, we'll process your refund or replacement promptly.
