FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We ship to all states and territories within Australia only. We do not currently ship internationally.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is AU$9.95 flat rate. Orders of AU$99 or more qualify for free shipping. No additional handling fees.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days from dispatch. Processing takes 1–2 business days. Remote areas (WA, NT, far-north QLD) may take a little longer. You'll receive a tracking email once your order ships.
My kit bundle arrived in multiple parcels — is that normal?
Yes. Autonomous Kit bundles and large multi-item orders often ship in separate parcels for safe handling. Each parcel has its own tracking number sent to your order email. If you've received only part of your order, the remaining parcel is likely in transit.
Returns & Warranty
Can I return something if I change my mind?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery — provided the item is unused and in original packaging. Return postage is at the customer's expense. See our Returns Policy for full details.
What if my item arrives faulty or damaged?
Contact us at hello@autogreencentral.com.au within 30 days with your order number and photos. We'll arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund (including return postage) at no cost to you. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply in full.
What warranty do your products carry?
Warranty periods vary by product and are listed on each product page. All products also carry the standard guarantees of the Australian Consumer Law — meaning regardless of any stated warranty, you're entitled to a remedy if a product is faulty, unsafe, or not fit for purpose.
Products & Compatibility
Are your products compatible with Australian power (230V/50Hz)?
Yes. All products we stock are specified for Australian mains power (230V/50Hz, Type I plug). If a product requires an adapter or power supply, this is noted in the product description. We do not sell products that require voltage conversion for Australian use.
I'm new to hydroponics — where do I start?
Our Autonomous Kits are a curated bundle of compatible components that work together out of the box. The Beginner Backyard Kit is a great starting point. You can also browse our Grow Guides blog for setup tutorials tailored to Australian conditions.
What's the difference between EC and pH, and why do both matter?
pH measures how acidic or alkaline your nutrient solution is — most plants prefer a pH between 5.5–6.5 for optimal nutrient uptake. EC (electrical conductivity) measures the concentration of dissolved nutrients in the water. Too low means plants are underfed; too high causes nutrient burn. Our IoT sensor kits monitor both continuously and alert you if either drifts out of range.
How does the autonomous dosing system work?
An auto-dosing controller connects to peristaltic pumps loaded with nutrient concentrate and pH up/down solutions. It reads your EC and pH sensors in real time and doses small amounts automatically to keep your solution within the programmed targets. You top up the concentrate bottles periodically — the controller handles the day-to-day adjustments.
Bundles & Kits
Can I buy kit components individually?
Yes. Every component in our Autonomous Kit bundles is also listed as a standalone product in its respective collection. You can start with a bundle and add to it later, or build a custom setup piece by piece if you already own some components.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and buy-now-pay-later options where available. All payments are processed securely — we never store your card details.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at this stage. AutoGreenCentral ships within Australia only. We're focused on stocking products with local AU warranty support and AU power compatibility — international shipping would complicate both of those commitments.
